Phoenix Counselling Service began as a bereavement and loss service. We understand that it may be harder for people over 50 or 60 to gain access to mental health services and at the same time needing to access general medical care. Counselling and psychotherapy may enhance later age significantly, life is more worth while and long standing confusions are explored, acknowledged and have less impact.

The first step is to attend for an initial consultation, or assessment, with a trained counsellor. Presently the full fee for this is £35 / £50. Further and on going fees are set according to your means. Allow up to an hour for this first consultation session.
